The Annual Meetings of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in America will take place on October 26-28, 2007 in New York City. During this weekend, His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios will be awarded the 2007 Athenagoras Human Rights Award at the annual banquet of The Order of St. Andrew. Deputy Under Secretary of State John D. Negroponte and Cardinal Theodore McCarrick will be among the featured speakers at the banquet. The investiture of twenty-three Archons will also take place at Holy Trinity Cathedral to conclude the weekends ceremonies. A complete schedule of events is listed below:
