Today, on Friday, November 29, 2019, Archbishop Theodosios of Sebastia, of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, visited the See of the Great Church of Christ, bearing his Patriarch’s fraternal embrace of the Ecumenical Patriarch
Archbishop Theodosius was warmly welcomed by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and had the opportunity to discuss topical issues of mutual interest.
His All-Holiness asked the Hierarch of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem to convey his love and good wishes to the Patriarch Theophilos and to the whole of the Holy Brotherhood, and also to the faithful people of God who lived in the places associated with the earthly presence, martyrdom and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Ecumenical Patriarch subsequently received with approval the Metropolitan Vasilios of Constantia and Ammochostos, a representative of the Church of Cyprus during the feast of the Throne of the Church of Constantinople, as well as Members of Parliament and members of the Greek delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy.
