In consultation with His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos, Director of Religious Education for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, a key member of the Archon Youth Participation Activity Engagement Committee, Ms. Katina Tsatalis, long-time public school teacher and beloved sister of our National Commander, has developed an age-specific pilot program of Sunday School modules for Pre K–12 students at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Dayton, Ohio. Archons Nicholas J. Tranto and Nicholas Terezis, chair and vice chair respectively of the Archon Youth Engagement Committee, deserve kudos for their great work!
The objective is to teach our Greek Orthodox Christian children, at the earliest ages, the historical and religious significance of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and to introduce them to the sacred global mission of His All-Holiness Bartholomew, Archbishop of Constantinople-New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch.
