Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, National Commander of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, is scheduled to appear on Cats Roundtable, the popular radio talk show hosted by Archon John A. Catsimatidis, on Sunday morning, February 2, 2020 at 9:00 AM.
Dr. Limberakis will discuss how Christians are being persecuted and killed all over the world. The Archons sponsor numerous initiatives to call attention to the disturbing increase in the persecution of Christians and others who profess their faith in a world in which 70% of the population experiences significant constraints on religious freedom. Stated another way, although 30% of the world’s population identifies as Christian, 80 percent of all acts of religious discrimination are directed at Christians. Dr. Limberakis will comment on how Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in his ongoing 29 year ministry as the spiritual father of Orthodox Christianity located in Constantinople Istanbul has always promoted peace and reconciliation among all peoples. The Archons have held conferences all over the world calling attention to the plight of persecuted Christians and working to end that persecution. Additionally. the Archon website ChristianPersecution.com posts daily news articles about this persecution.
Archon Catsimatidis is chairman of the Order’s Religious Freedom Committee.
