Today, Bishop Symeon of Thespies, Protosyncellos of the Archbishop of Athens, visited the Phanar.

Simeon, the Bishop of Thespies and Protosyncellos of the Archdiocese of Athens, visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate today, Wednesday, April 17.

The Bishop of Thespies was received by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, to whom Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece extended an invitation to visit Greece and to officiate at the opening ceremony of the “Saint Porphyrios” Center for Gerontology and Social Support in Dilesi of Boeotia, in the presence of the President of the Greek Republic, Prokopios Pavlopoulos.

His All-Holiness accepted this kind invitation and asked the Bishop of Thespies to convey his cordial wishes to His Beatitude in light of the celebration of Holy Pascha.
