Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified regarding the sad news of the passing of Archon George H. Grigos, Archon Maestor, of Huntingdon Valley, PA who fell asleep in the Lord on August 27, 2024. Archon Grigos was invested as an Archon on March 10, 2002.

Reflective of his concern for the Holy Mother Church, I vividly recall Archon George arranging a luncheon meeting for me with Congressman Bob Brady, Chair of the Democratic Party of Philadelphia at his restaurant, The Aramingo Diner, a beloved Philadelphia institution. At our meeting, during which I connected Congressman Brady real-time with the Manatos Team in Washington by phone, Archon George and I educated the Congressman on the Plight of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Five Issues of Concern.  The Manatos Team followed up in Washington.

On behalf of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his wife, Georgette, and their family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
