Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified regarding the sad news of the passing of Archon George Tita, Archon Hartoularios, formerly of Koppel, PA who fell asleep in the Lord on May 9, 2024. Archon Tita distinguished himself in the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of North America and contributed a great sense of ecumenicity to the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He was invested as an Archon on February 28, 1999.

On behalf of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
