Archon Dr. Nawaf Salameh Discusses the 4th Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom on Romanian Television

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Archon Dr. Nawaf Salameh was interviewed about the 4th Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom on the “Truth and Courage” program. The program is aired on TVR Cultural, the cultural channel of Romania’s national television network, Televiziunea Română. The 4th Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom took place in Athens from May 26 to 29, 2024. Conducting the interview was Rafael Udriste.

Archon Dr. Salameh discussed the history of the Archons; their goals and objectives in the modern world; the cardinal importance of the 4th Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom and 1st Global Summit of Archons; the Orthodox Church and Russia’s war on Ukraine; the problems presented by Orthodox Christians migrating to other countries, and how they can be solved; the duties of Archons; and much more.

Archon Dr. Nawaf Salameh is a Romanian businessman of Syrian origin, and Founder and Chairman of the Alexandrion Group and NS & Sons Global Investment. In 1983, Dr. Nawaf Salameh moved to Romania to study Medicine. Dr. Salameh is also a Doctor in Military Sciences and Information, holding a Ph.D in Globalization Economics from Carol I National Defense University, Bucharest (2010-2013). He is a specialist in Leading National Security and Defense, a title granted by the National Defense College of Romania, Bucharest (2004-2005). In 2003, Dr. Salameh established the Alexandrion Foundation.

On October 8, 2022, Dr. Salameh and his beloved wife Rim were presented the Archon Sophia Award for Excellence for the indispensable service they rendered to the Archons, and to the Ecumenical Patriarchate itself, in facilitating the Archons’ Religious Freedom Mission to Romania, Bulgaria and Greece in June 2022. Dr. Nawaf Salameh was invested as an Archon on October 9, 2022, and conferred with the offikion Referendarios.
