The President expressed his warmest wishes for the feast of the Resurrection and Holy Pascha

The President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, contacted His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew shortly after 9 p.m. on the Sunday of Pascha, in order to express his warmest wishes for the feast of the Resurrection of the Lord and Holy Pascha to him and to the Orthodox Christians throughout the world.

His All-Holiness thanked the President for his initiative of expressing his good wishes over the phone, and also for the general interest of the United States regarding issues and concerns of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He also thanked the President for his interest in the Holy Archdiocese of America, under the leadership of Archbishop Elpidophoros, and his flock.
