On Sunday, February 16, 2025, the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the Metropolis of Chicago traveled to Rockford, Illinois, to give a presentation on the five key issues impacting the Ecumenical Patriarchate at Christ the Savior American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church. Archon Wesley Stinich introduced keynote speakers Archon National Secretary and Regional Commander Gus M. Pablecas and Regional Commander John G. Manos. Approximately 75 people listened to the presentation.
A special thank you to parish priest Rev. Father Jonathan Bannon, Pani (Presvytera) Marianna, Parish Council President Jeremiah Erber, and the entire community for hosting the event and providing a luncheon after the event.
The Archons encourage parishes within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that would like to have a religious freedom presentation held at their parish to email the Archon’s National Office at lkats@archons.org. The Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate is a devoted group of passionate leaders, relentlessly focused on protecting religious freedom for everyone and ensuring the future of the Ecumenical Patriarchate — the historical spiritual center of the world’s 300+ million Orthodox Christians.
