Governor of Anambra, Prof Charles Soludo, says Christianity is facing a major threat in his state.
The Governor, in company of his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, made the call while speaking at the yearly prayer rally organised by Anglican Communion, Province of the Niger, held in Awka, Anambra State capital….
He said despite everything, Anambra state remains a Christian society, which will never be taken for granted.
According to Soludo, beyond prayers, there is the need for the church to work together with government to defeat insecurity and other anti social vices plaguing the state.
He said the church, the people and the society have roles to play and should all be involved in the war against insecurity
