Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified regarding the sad news of the passing of Archon John Kost, Archon Depoutatos, of Freeland, PA who fell asleep in the Lord on July 12, 2023. Archon John distinguished himself in the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of North America and contributed a great sense of ecumenicity to the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. He was invested as an Archon on February 17, 2001.

On behalf of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
