EWTN to broadcast Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s visit to the Vatican, Oct. 18th

In early March of 2008, Pope Benedict XVI extended a personal invitation to His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to join in the opening of the World Synod of Catholic Bishops at the Vatican this month and to give an address to the assembly together with the Pope. The assembly, focusing on “The Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church,” will be featured on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), Saturday, October 18, 2008.

If you wish to watch this historic event, you can watch it “live” on www.ewtn.com. Click on the “Television” link and then click “Live TV”. The broadcast will last for one and a half hours. For the United States, it will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. EST. For Europe, it will begin Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Middle European Daylight Time.
