At the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the newly elected Metropolitan Ierotheos of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios

He came to receive the blessings and blessings of His All-Holiness, accompanied by the Metropolitans Chrysostomos of Dodoni and Nikolaos of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki.

The new Metropolitan Ierotheos of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios, accompanied by the Metropolitans Chrysostomos of Dodoni and Nikolaos of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, visited the See of the Ecumenical Patriarchate today, Saturday, November 2.

The new Shepherd of the historic Metropolis of the North Aegean, one of the ecclesiastical Provinces in Greece of the Ecumenical Throne, called the “New Countries,” requested and received, before his enthronement, the good wishes and blessing of the Ecumenical Patriarch.

The Ecumenical Patriarch congratulated him on his worthy election and wished him all the best in his pastoral work.

It is recalled that the new Metropolitan of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios maintained long-term spiritual ties with the Metropolitan of Dodoni, and until his election served as the Protosynkellos of the Metropolitan of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki.

During the meeting of His All-Holiness with the three Metropolitans, they also had the opportunity to discuss ecclesiastical issues, and shortly thereafter, they were invited to the lunch given by the Ecumenical Patriarch for his clergy and lay associates of the Patriarchal Court on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of his enthronement on November 2, 1991.
