Archon Nikolaos Letsios Recognized with ‘Goddess Artemis’ Award by EAWC, Highlights Role of Archons in Washington D.C.

In Washington D.C. on December 14, 2023, at a significant gathering of leaders and visionaries, Nikolaos Letsios was honored with the “Goddess Artemis” award by the Euro-American Women’s Council (EAWC). During this prestigious event, at a roundtable of award recipients, Archon Letsios also presented a comprehensive PowerPoint, elucidating the critical role of Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

The presentation focused on the Archons’ mission to promote religious freedom and human rights for all, resonating deeply with the attendees. During his presentation, Archon Letsios stated: “Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew symbolizes the Orthodox Christian Church’s enduring spirit. Serving approximately 300 million believers, the Church not only provides spiritual guidance but also champions the cause of human rights and religious freedom.” He added: “As Archons, our role extends to raising awareness and lobbying for the rights of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at various international platforms, including the United States. Our advocacy is crucial for ensuring that its voice is heard.”
