On Monday, September 21, 2020, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, offered a virtual lecture, “The Future of Orthodox-Catholic Relations in the U.S.A.” This was the inaugural Economos Orthodoxy in America Lecture, which has been newly renamed in recognition of Christ and Anastasia Economos’s faithful support of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center at Fordham University. The 2020 lecture was also made possible with a generous grant from The Nicholas J. & Anna K. Bouras Foundation, Inc. The Orthodox Christian Studies Center was co-founded by Archons George Demacopoulos and Aristotle Papanikolaou.
