Dear brother Archons and friends of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate,

In yet another manifestation of the profound commitment of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to diakonia, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros has chosen Archon Theo Nicolakis to be his new Director of National Ministries for the Holy Archdiocese of America.

This position has been vacant for a quarter of a century. But in God’s Holy Church today, where there is a need, there is an Archon. The appointment of Archon Theo to this position demonstrates the relentless dedication of the AEP to fulfilling our mission of supporting and defending our Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Church worldwide: when the Church calls, Archons are ready to answer.

Archon Nicolakis is a graduate of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. He was invested as Archon in 2011 and conferred with the offikion Kastrinsios.
