Thomas M. Suehs of the Transfiguration Church in Austin, TX, and of the Holy Archangel Monastery in Kendalia, TX, and of St. Paraskeve Monastery in Washington County, TX, was invested as Archon in 2011 and conferred with the offikion Skevophylax.

Archon Suehs has been a major benefactor of the Transfiguration Church and of both Monasteries. He has also served on the IOCC Board of Directors.

Archon Suehs is the Executive Commissioner of the Texas Health and Human Service Commission. He played a key role in the passage of the religious freedom resolution in Texas, over the strong opposition of the local Turkish community.
