John J. Blazakis of St. George in Piscataway, NJ, was invested as Archon in 2010 and conferred with the offikion Dikaiophylax. He participated in two pilgrimages to the Ecumenical Patriarchate (in 2006 and in 2009) and he was the motorcade coordinator for the visit of His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to the US in November 2009.

Archon Blazakis is a member of Fellowship 1000 of the Holy Metropolis of New Jersey. He was also responsible for the transportation of the Archbishop of Crete (2010).

Archon Blazakis is a retired Chief of Police in Somerset County, NJ.
