Dr. George J. Kallins of St. George Church in Downey, CA, was invested as Archon in 2010 and conferred with the offikion Eftaxias.

Archon Kallins has been a major benefactor of the parish and of the St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center benefactor, on the Board of which he has served as a member. He has also been a member of Leadership 100 and a member of the Board of Trustees of Hellenic College – Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (2006-2008).

Archon Kallins is a physician. He and his wife were married in 1999.
