Dr. Aristidis P. Assimacopoulos of the Holy Trinity Church in Sioux Falls, SD, was invested as Archon in 2012 and conferred with the offikion Aktouarios.

Following a pilgrimage to the Ecumenical Patriarchate in 20111, Archon Assimacopoulos returned to South Dakota, where single handedly he convinced the South Dakota State Legislature to adopt the Religious Freedom Resolution in support of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
