National Commander Dr. Limberakis Has Fruitful Discussion with Kimberly Guilfoyle, Nominated to Be Ambassador to Greece

Kimberly Guilfoyle

Dear Brother Archons:

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, I had an illuminating and productive phone conversation with President-elect Trump’s nominee to be U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Following His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America’s important discussion with Ms. Guilfoyle, I had a cordial and wide-ranging conversation where she emphasized that she was “looking forward to a strong working relationship with the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.” Ms. Guilfoyle also expressed her deep respect for His Eminence, with whom she reaffirmed her commitment to the promotion of religious freedom worldwide, including the safeguarding of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Ms. Guilfoyle stated this after I had given her a brief introduction to the multifaceted work of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate (AEP) as a dedicated group of leading Orthodox Christians in the United States and around the world. I provided her with a general overview of our efforts in defense of religious freedom and human rights on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, the spiritual center for 300 million Orthodox Christians worldwide.

As a matter of particular interest to Ms. Guilfoyle as she takes up her new duties, I informed her about the Fourth International Conference on Religious Freedom and First Summit of Global Archons, which were held in Athens in May 2024. The Greek government opened several landmark ancient sites for the proceedings of this conference. Spearheading that groundbreaking summit were numerous prominent figures of the Greek political and business realms, in collaboration with the Archons of America and elsewhere, including Archon Athanasios Martinos, a widely respected business leader in the Hellenic Republic.

Ms. Guilfoyle also recently appeared on the WABC radio show of Archon John A. Catsimatidis, a member of the Archon National Council and Chair of the Archon Religious Freedom Committee. During that interview, Ms. Guilfoyle told Archon Catsimatidis: “I just want to say, one of the reasons why I was so thrilled and really wanted to serve as an ambassador to Greece is because of my great love and admiration for you, for your family, for the incredible country of Greece.”

The Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, our Spiritual Advisor Father Alex Karloutsos, and all of our associates and allies are looking forward to working with His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros and Ms. Guilfoyle to advance the cause of religious freedom and human rights, and for the support and defense of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Yours in the service of the Ecumenical Patriarchate,

Anthony J. Limberakis, MD
