Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified regarding the sad news of the passing of Archon Theofanis V. Economidis, Archon Ekdikos, of San Jose, CA who fell asleep in the Lord on November 29, 2025. Archon Economidis was a longtime National Council Member and his diakonia to the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Holy Metropolis of San Francisco were unparalleled. Invested in 1996, he was an Archon for all to emulate, and together with his late wife, Cynthia, an accomplished university professor, they will now be in The Kingdom together for life eternal.

On behalf of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his beloved daughter, Roberta, and the entire family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
