Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified regarding the sad news of the passing of Archon Gus Stavropoulos, Archon Depoutatos, of Westland, MI who fell asleep in the Lord on June 16, 2024. Archon Gus was invested as an Archon on March 4, 1990 and was a long-time and faithful son of the Mother Church.

On behalf of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his wife, Maria, and their entire family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
