Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified regarding the sad news of the passing of Archon Dr. Thomas Lelon, Archon Notarios, of Weston, MA who fell asleep in the Lord on May 18, 2025. He was invested as an Archon on May 27, 1983. Archon Dr. Lelon served with distinction as President of HCHC from 1976 to 1986 and remained a devoted member of the Board of Trustees for decades, including many years as Vice Chair. Upon his appointment, he became the first layman to lead the institution.

On behalf of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his beloved wife Alexis and his entire family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
