On April 16, 2019, Regional Commanders Gus M. Pablecas and John G. Manos of the Metropolis of Chicago, spoke at an "Orthodoxy on Tap" session held at the Derby Bar & Grill in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. The event, coordinated by Father Kosmas Kallis, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Metropolis of Chicago, is part of a series that centers on the theme “Who Am I Becoming.” The title of their talk was “Who Am I Becoming: Archons and Religious Freedom Awareness,” where the Regional Commanders discussed the role of the Archons and the issues facing the Ecumenical Patriarchate today. The event culminated with a presentation and a Q&A session. About 30 Greek Orthodox young adults attended the event.
