On Saturday, October 30, 2021, the Order of Saint Andrew honored those scientists whose extraordinary efforts led to worldwide covid vaccines and therapeutics saving millions of lives, with the Athenagoras Human Rights Award. Those scientists honored included Albert Bourla, PhD, DVM, CEO of Pfizer, Ugur Sahin, MD and Ozlem Tureci, MD, Co-Founders of BioNTech and George D.
