From November 3–10, 2018, members of the Order of Saint Andrew’s Executive Committee, led by His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel of France and Father Alex Karloutsos, Archon Spiritual Advisor, participated in a Religious Freedom Mission to Austria. Austria currently holds the EU Presidency and is the headquarters of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). His Eminence Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria and Exarch of Hungary and Central Europe also participated in meetings, in which concerns were raised on the egregious religious freedom deficit in Turkey asphyxiating the Ecumenical Patriarchate and our support for the autocephaly of the Church of Ukraine.
