Archon Sophia Award For Excellence

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Sophia Award Luncheon, the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate presented the Archon Sophia Award for Excellence to the Honorable Michael Kratsios, White House Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and Science Advisor to the President of the United States. Archon Kratsios was recognized for his extraordinary dedication and service to the Mother Church of Constantinople, our beloved Nation, The United States and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The Sophia Award for Excellence is given annually by the Archons to an individual or individuals who have distinguished themselves in endeavors that serve the needs of the Holy Mother Church and the Sacred Mission of the Archons of the Great Church of Christ.
