Archon presentation in Manchester, NH

Back to albums list

On Sunday, March 31, Chris Chrisafides, Archon Depoutatos presented "Archons of the Patriarchate – Protecting the Future of Faith", after church services at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester, NH in front of ~75 parishioners as part of their Library Speaker Series, hosted by Meleti Pouliopoulos, Phil Liakos, and Father Demitri Costarakis. The presentation provided background about the history of Archons of the Patriarchate, the lineage of His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew as the 269th direct successor to Saint Andrew – the first called Apostle, as well as the five issues facing our mother church today, as well as the actions Archons are taking to address these complex issues.

Phil Liakos, Co-Chair of the Cathedral Library Speaker Series, said the following:

"Archon Chris Chrisafides’ multimedia presentation, as part of the St. George Cathedral Library Speaker Series in Manchester, NH, successfully defined the issues the Archons of our Faith are addressing in support of HAH Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and our mother church. The feedback from our parishioners was very positive from this informative presentation."

Chris’s presentation was videotaped and will be available to the Saint George community as a resource in the future.

In attendance supporting Archon Chrisafides were fellow Archons Bob Badavas and John Lagadinos, who also made a very generous donation to the Saint George Cathedral Easter Fund.
