Archon Robert Badavas welcomes Cardinal Sean O’Malley, Archbishop of the Diocese of Boston, at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Boston for the Resurrection Service on Saturday evening. Cardinal O’Malley is a long time friend of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of the Boston Metropolis and has attended many of our services through the years. Also attending the service for the past three years was Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu. She is the first Boston Mayor to attend the service. Archon Badavas (invested in 2023) has previously served as Parish Council President of the Cathedral and has acted as official greeter on numerous occasions.
