On Saturday, October 25, 2008, His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios, Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, together with the Archons and Archon-elects of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, met at the New York Hilton Hotel for the Annual Archon Assembly. Various reports and presentations were heard during the assembly which included words from the Honorable James F.
