On Friday evening, October 14, 2011, the Annual Archon Banquet Weekend commenced with an Orientation Dinner held at the New York Hilton Hotel. The members of The Order of Saint Andrew, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Archons-elect, and the National Council and Regional Commanders gathered. His Grace Bishop Savas of Troas offered the invocation, assisted by Chaplain Milton Gianulis, Captain, U.S. Navy. Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, MD, National Commander later offered a visual presentation on the Archon role and responsibilities.
