On Sunday, September 24, 2017, Archon Regional Commanders Gus M. Pablecas and John G. Manos delivered a religious freedom presentation on the 5 key issues facing the Ecumenical Patriarchate during a symposium held at St. Michael’s Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church in Niles, IL. Archons Wesley Andrew Stinich and Steve M. Laduzinsky also were actively engaged in dialogue during the symposium.Under Regional Commander Pablecas and Manos’ leadership, Archons of the Metropolis of Chicago continue to educate parish communities within their Metropolis about the mission of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle and the plight of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The Metropolis of Chicago oversees all Greek Orthodox Parishes within Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, as well as eastern Missouri and northwest Indiana.
