The Elevation of Holy Cross was festively celebrated in the Phanar with the participation of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and members of the Holy and Sacred Synod. Attending the Liturgy included Mr. Fotis Xedas, the Ambassador of Greece in Ankara; Mr. Nikos Sigalas, the Consul at Constantinople; and Mr. D. Moustaklis, the press attaché at the General Consulate, along with a large group of worshipers from the Poli, Greece, and other countries.
