With the blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America, a Religious Freedom Mission Team traveled to Berlin, Germany and Istanbul, Turkey, on behalf of the Order of Saint Andrew, June 15-21, 2013.

Hosted by His Eminence Metropolitan Augoustinos of Germany who opened many doors, extensive and productive meetings with religious, diplomatic and government leaders were held in Berlin in preparation for the upcoming Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom in December. Many of these leaders were presented with Philadelphia Liberty Bell replicas symbolic of the religious liberty for which the Order is striving on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and religious minorities in Turkey.

In Turkey, the delegation had the opportunity to meet and receive the blessings of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
