On Thursday, June 12, 2008, the National Council of the Order of Saint Andrew held their monthly meeting at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in New York, NY. Prior to the meeting, National Commander Anthony J. Limberakis offered a presentation from his recent trip to Moscow, Russia and related the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s current religious freedom persecutions to that of the churches, monasteries, and institutions in Russia which suffered during the Communist regime.
