The Archon delegation met with several officials while in Bucharest, Romania, beginning with the Charge d’Affaires and Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy to Romania. They also were received by the Presidential Advisor Bogdan Tataru Cazaban at the Cotroceni Palace.Meetings continued throughout the morning with the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and Director of Human Rights and Council of Europe Division. They also met with the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs. The Archon delegation was received by His Beatitude, Patriarch Daniel of Romania and His Eminence, Metropolitan Ciprian Campineanu and Fr. Michael Tita. Finally, the delegation met with Dorina-Maria Nastase, PhD, Political Reporter and Head of the Political Section and Doina Servan, Coordinator Team Europe and EDC Coordinator for the European Commission Representation in Romania.
