The Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate presented a staged performance based on the destruction of Smyrna in 1922, one of the most tragic religious genocides in history. A Short History of Anger: A Hybrid Work of Poetry and Theatre by Joy Manesiotis, was presented on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan, organized by Regional Commanders George A. Tsougarakis, Esq. and Nikiforos Mathews, Esq. of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of New Jersey and the Direct Archdiocesan District respectively.
