Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ and Advocates of the Holy Mother Church and His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew,
Today in 1961, when Dimitrios Archontonis was just 21 years old, he was ordained to the Holy Deaconate at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Imvros by then-Metropolitan Meliton of Imvros and Tenedos (later Metropolitan of Chalcedon), on August 13, 1961. On that historic day, His All-Holiness began his 65- year journey as Deacon, Priest, Hierarch and Ecumenical Patriarch, which has been the most impactful and consequential in history.
Please join Maria and me in wishing our beloved and most respected Ecumenical Patriarch BARTHOLOMEW heartfelt congratulations and most importantly OUR PROFOUND GRATITUDE for his extraordinary diakonia!
ΕΙΣ ΠΟΛΛΑ ΕΤΗ ΔΕΣΠΟΤΑ!
In the service of the Great Church of Christ, the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople,
Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis
Archon Grand Aktouarios
National Commander
