Dearly Beloved,
As you know, our beloved spiritual father, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, will celebrate his Name Day on Friday, October 26th, the Feast Day of his patron St. Demetrios the Myrrh-Streamer. In light of this auspicious occasion, it is my great pleasure to extend to you and all the members of the Greek Orthodox community this invitation to an Open House Reception which will be held Friday evening, October 26th from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Archdiocesan Center of the Holy Trinity Cathedral (337 East 74th Street) in Manhattan.
No doubt, His Eminence will be deeply moved and pleased to have the faithful join him as he celebrates his Name Day. I look forward to seeing you at this Open House and I know that you join with me in praying that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ keep him safe, honorable and healthy for many years, rightly to teach the word of His truth!
