On Thursday, September 19, 2025, a dinner was held in honor of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and members of the Patriarchal Delegation at Gallaghers Steakhouse in New York City. The dinner was part of His All-Holiness’ Apostolic Visit to the United States, his eighth Apostolic Visit to this country.
In attendance were His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America; His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, formerly of America; His Eminence Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea; the Spiritual Advisor of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Alex Karloutsos; and numerous other Hierarchs and clergy.
A renowned gathering place in the heart of New York City, Gallaghers Steakhouse has maintained its reputation as one of the most notable restaurants in Manhattan since the Prohibition Era.
