His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, a modern apostle of peace and love, is the head of the world’s second largest and oldest Christian faith community. Based in a Muslim country on the fault-line between East and West, Christianity and Islam, the developed and developing worlds, His All-Holiness is, by tradition, the 269th successor to an actual apostle of Jesus Christ, St Andrew, the first-called apostle and brother of St. Peter.

The Five Issues of Concern

Our Orthodox Faith is being challenged by the Turkish Government. If not addressed, it can lead to the asphyxiation of Orthodox Christians.  The Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate are fighting to defend and protect the religious freedoms of our Holy and Great Mother Church.
