John Tangalos of St. John the Baptist Church in Sterling Heights, MI, was invested as Archon in 2010 and conferred with the offikion Dierminefs. He was a major coordinator for the 2000 Patriarchal visit to Detroit.

Archon Tangalos has served as GOYA President, parish council member, and as choir director. He has also been a member of the Metropolis Finance Committee and the pro bono accountant of the Metropolis of Detroit.

Archon Tangalos is an accountant. He and his wife were married in 1989.
