On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the Hellenic Bar Association Foundation will honor Archon Perry Siatis with its prestigious 2023 Lawyer of the Year Award. The award will be conferred at the Foundation’s 73rd Annual Scholarship Ball.
Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, National Commander of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, remarked: “Archon Siatis is an articulate and informed defender of our beloved Ecumenical Patriarchate and Vice Chair of the Archons’ Youth Participation Activities Committee, as well as being an accomplished and highly respected legal advocate who champions the marginalized. Archon Perry Siatis is a FOUNDER of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation. He is not only Vice Chair of the Archon Youth Participation Activities Committee, but is also a founding committee member of the Archons’ Pilgrimage of Discovery program, and Chair of the program’s alumni committee.
In addition to his activities for the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Archon Siatis is a supporter of St. Basil’s Academy in Garrison, New York; a member of Leadership 100; a member of the National Hellenic Society, where he serves on the Advisory Committee; a member of the Panhellenic Scholarship Foundation, where he sponsors an annual scholarship; and a supporter of the National Hellenic Museum. He also dedicates significant time and resources to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago, including as Co-Chairs of the Stewardship Task Force of the Metropolis, and as legal advisor to the St. Iakovos Retreat Center Board of Directors.

Along with his tireless labors on behalf of the Greek Orthodox Church and the Omogeneia, Archon Siatis is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of AbbVie, which discovers and delivers innovative medicines and solutions that enhance people’s lives. At Abbvie, he is a champion of diversity and inclusion. He has spearheaded AbbVie Legal engagements with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms. He is also the executive sponsor of the ABILITY Employee Resource Group, which supports and advocates for employees with disabilities and employees who are caregivers of people with disabilities.
