Archon Lenten Retreat: Pasadena
On Friday, March 13, 2026, the John Halecky, Jr. 22nd Annual National Archon Lenten Retreat took place in Pasadena, CA. An Akathist service was held at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church followed by a welcome dinner. After the dinner, Archon C.L. Max Nikias delivered a book presentation on ‘American Trojan’. The evening concluded with the first session by the Retreat Master, Father James C. Pappas.
The next day, following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, Father James C. Pappas, Proistamenos of St. George Church, Fresno, CA spoke on the theme of “My heart, God’s home” – Finding our Lord in the recesses of our personal daily lives and in the little church of our homes.
A dinner was held at Bistro 45 in Pasadena, to conclude the Archon Lenten Retreat.
