Nicholas Kapnison of the St. George Church in Albuquerque, NM, was invested as Archon in 2009 and conferred with the offikion Depoutatos.

Archon Kapnison has served for 25 years on the Parish Council, including five terms as President. He is also a benefactor of the Holy Metropolis of Denver, organizing ministries and activities for the Metropolis in the New Mexico area.

Archon Kapnison is Chairman of Atlas Resources, a professional employers organization listed as one of the four largest employers in New Mexico. In addition, he is Chairman of two insurance/reinsurance companies and the owner/operator of an upscale restaurant, featured as one of the finest in the Albuquerque area. He is very active in many New Mexico charitable organizations, including the New Mexico Symphony and the University of New Mexico. He was also appointed Chairman of the New Mexico Workers Compensation Advisory Council by Governor Bill Richardson.

Archon Kapnison and his wife, Chrisanthe, were married in year and have one daughter.
