In Memoriam: Presbytera Elizabeth Limberakis

Dear Brother Archons and Friends,

On behalf of my brother Cary and my sister Catherine, it is with a heavy heart that I convey the sad news that our beloved mother, Presbytera Elizabeth (Constantine) Limberakis fell asleep in the Lord this past Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the age of 93.

Loving and devoted wife of Father John A. Limberakis, of blessed memory, she was the mother of four children: Evangelyn, who predeceased her, Cary (Alexis), Anthony (Maria), and Catherine (James); grandmother to Alyssa, Jaclyn, Jonathan, and Kyra Limberakis; John, Anthony, and Elizabeth Limberakis; and Andrea, John and Peter Tsatalis, as well as great-grandmother to Peter, Alexia and Jack, Dakota and Anthony, Evangeline, and Anthony.

Presbytera Elizabeth was universally loved and respected and was the exemplar Presbytera supporting parish ministries side by side with her beloved Fr. John who led four parishes to erect houses of worship for the Glory of God, in Fresno, CA; Cranston, RI; Elkins Park, PA and Jeffersonville, PA.

With abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection, may her memory be eternal!

Ζωή σε σας… Ζωή σε μας…
