Dear Brother Archons,

The Archon office was recently notified about the sad news of the passing of Archon John Pappajohn, Archon Laosynaktis, of Des Moines, IA who fell asleep in the Lord on April 22, 2023. He was invested as an Archon on February 18, 2001.

Archon John was a great benefactor of the Church having served as a member of Leadership 100, a Founder of the FAITH Endowment, and a major contributor to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine.

On behalf of the Order of Saint Andrew, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate we express our deep sympathy to his family with abiding faith in our Lord and Savior and with hope in His resurrection!
