Dear Brother Archons,
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Anastasia Michals, beloved wife of Archon Jeffrey Vasilios, and the President of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey Philoptochos Sisterhood fell asleep in the Lord in the early hours of February 21, 2019.
Anastasia was a most dedicated Orthodox Christian and a shining example of a faithful handmaiden of the Lord. She will be remembered for her extraordinary legacy of philanthropy in so many ways… as beloved President of the New Jersey Philoptochos, as Chair of the Children’s Medical Fund, and as Co-Chair of the Clergy-Laity Congress in Philadelphia. She will be remembered for her many interactions as cherished wife to her beloved husband Archon Jeffrey, beloved mother to her two adored children John Thomas and Anastasia, her soon to be grandchild, and as a dearest friend.
Eternal be the memory of Anastasia Michals….
